Willow Shire is an executive consultant focused on leadership development,
organizational change and executive coaching in the Fortune 100 companies

Willow is an accomplished speaker and is frequently sought out to address
professional groups, corporate executives and professional women's
organizations on the topics of managing change, organizational transformation
and role of women in corporate America. She was featured on the cover of
Fortune Magazine for her leadership work in organizational transformation.
Willow founded Orchard Consulting in 1994 with a focus on helping corporate
executives address current business demands and make substantial cultural
and organizational changes. She travels around the world helping executive
teams design and implement their mission, strategy and marketing plans as
well as focusing on team and leadership development. Clients included Union
Pacific Resources, Royal Dutch Shell, Ameritech and Sanifo Aventis.
Prior to starting Orchard Consulting, Willow spent eighteen years at Digital
Equipment Corporation managing Human Resources and Marketing
Organizations. In 1990 Willow assumed control of the Health Industries
Business Unit as Vice President and Officer of the corporation reporting to the
President/CEO. In this role Willow had full profit and loss responsibility for
Digital's $1 billion health care market, where she managed a worldwide
organization that worked with customers, partners and industry leaders to
develop health care solutions, market strategies, business plans, consulting
and sales programs.
Willow has an M.A.T. in clinical psychology from Harvard University and a BS in
Biology and Education from Boston University. She completed the International
Marketing and Management Program at INSEAD, France and did advanced
study in organizational design with Noel Tichy at Columbia University.
Willow is currently on the Board of Directors for TJX Corporation and Vitesse
Semiconductor.
